The Mount Aloysius College - Information Technology Services (MAC-ITS), which is located on the 3rd floor of the main building, provides computing and telecommunication support services to staff, faculty, and students. These services range from telecommunication services and troubleshooting to computer configuration and troubleshooting. As a new student, staff, or faculty to Mount Aloysius please take a few moments to review each link on the following page to familiarize yourself with the proper contact numbers, policies and procedures. It is the goal of the MAC-ITS to serve the college community with an ever increasing emphasis on service.

The MAC-ITS as we know it today was primarily established in May of 1998 and with each passing year has increased services to the college community. Since May of 1998, major upgrades to the telecommunication system, network infrastructure and administrative software system were priority number one for the staff.

One of the most significant improvements to the institution took place in Fall of 1999 with the creation of the Mount Aloysius College Help Desk, which can be reached at 814-886-6502. This serves as one central area for problem reporting or requesting assistance. Please take a few moments to continue with this tour of the MAC-ITS.

Two of the most important policies that directly affect all staff, faculty, and students are the Computer Fair Use Policy and the Information Technology Systems Operational Procedures Policy. It is imperative that you take few moments to become familiar with these Policies and Procedures because by receiving an account to the Mount Aloysius College system you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.
