Fall 2020 Final Exam Information from Janna Kohler Linda A LeaheyShow MyInfo popup for Linda A Leahey 9/30/2020 4:00:00 PM

Attention Students,

The final exam schedule has been posted on MyMac. The remote exams will begin on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

Regular Fall and Spring semesters include a 5-day Final Exam week, which will consist of 4 scheduled exam days, with 1 make-up day. The Registrar will publish the exam schedule at the beginning of each semester, noting the course, section, date, time and location of the final exam. Individual course instructors will provide specific information about assessments and exams.

Please note the final exam schedule is reflective of the lecture or theory meetings of your course that carry credit.  For science courses that meet one day for lecture and one day for lab, the final exam will be linked to the day of the lecture. Labs, clinical meetings, seminars, internships, and directed studies are not scheduled to have a final exam.  However, departments may require students to complete a skills lab for a course.  Please consult your instructor for additional information.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I access my final exam schedule?

To access your final exam schedule, log into MyMAC and click the Students link in the blue header. In the Student Schedule Portlet, click View Details. There will be a link to show your schedule as a PDF.  You will see the corresponding days and times of your final exams listed below each course. If you have not already done so, please print this schedule.

What room will my final exam be in?

All finals will be remote for the Fall term so contact your instructor for further information.

What do I do if I have three final exams in one day or two that conflict in time?

If a student has 3 or more final exams in one day, he or she may opt to complete all of the exams in one day or file a Final Exam Conflict Form with the Registrar’s Office. The deadline for submitting this form to the Registrar’s Office is October 23, 2020.  The Registrar’s Office will review the potential conflict and will attempt to resolve the conflict with the student.   Please note that wanting to complete all exams early in the week is not considered a conflict. The Final Exam Conflict Form can be obtained in the Registrar’s Office.

Where can I find the complete final exam schedule?

The complete final exam schedule can be found on the Registrar’s Office webpage.

Students can access a PDF of the Fall 2020 schedule here.
